Hearing Damage

1. Should I wear earplugs?

The answer is not so surprising: Yes, you should.

According to the World Health Organization 1.1 billion people risk hearing damage due to damaging sound levels at nightclubs, bars and other events. Earplugs are by far the best and easiest solution to prevent this.

2. What sound level causes permanent damage to my ears?

The decibel (dB) is used to measure sound level. Irreversible hearing damage can occur as low as 85db. Music venues easily reach up to 100dB, at that level, hearing damage occurs after only 15 minutes without proper protection.

Loop Decibel sound levels

Loop earplugs provide a 20dB equal sound reduction across all frequencies. Bringing damaging sound back to an enjoyable level. This means you can enjoy music longer, without having to worry about short and long-term effects of damaging sound.

3. What’s wrong with foam earplugs?

Foam earplugs aren’t made for music. They’re designed to block your ears from all external sound. Because they don't have a build-in filter, you'll hear muffled and uneven sound.

4. I have Tinnitus (ringing ears). Can Loop help me?

Loop earplugs are designed to reduce volume. This helps to prevent hearing loss and tinnitus as a result of too loud music. However, Loop is not a suitable remedy for existing tinnitus, other than preventing the further development of it.

Loop earplugs

About Loop
1. What is Loop?

Loop is the first round shaped earplug designed for music. It's a new approach on earplugs for better sound and looks. Loop has a build in acoustic channel and music filter that provides a 20dB equal sound reduction across all frequencies. Music and speech remain clear, but at a lower volume.

2. How does Loop work?

Loop is a combination of a round acoustic channel and music filter.

Loop's round acoustic channel is designed to mimic the function of your ear canal, for a clear and natural sound experience. A music filter at the end of that acoustic canal lowers all frequencies equally by 20dB. As a result both music and speech remain clear but at a lower volume.

3. Why is Loop round?

Simple answer:
Loop was made round to achieve a clear, natural sound experience and fit every ear.

More detailed answer:
When sound waves pass through your ear canal, certain frequencies are boosted. This is due to your ear canal acting as a resonator (like a small trumpet). Most earplugs sound bad because they block this resonance, without compensating it.

To achieve great music experience, Loop compensates that natural resonance by mimicking the function of your ear canal with an acoustic channel that has the same length as your ear canal. By using the latest 3D printing technologies, we were able to make this acoustic channel compact with a round shape as a result.

4. What is the difference between Loop and regular earplugs?

Regular earplugs sound bad because the block all sound, and give you a muffled and uneven sound experience. They also often look bad and are uncomfortable to wear.

With Loop we’ve made the first earplug without compromises. Loop’s round acoustic channel and build-in music filter guarantee a great music experience. Its round shape is unique and sits discreetly in your ears. With 3 different sets of eartips included, you can be sure they’ll fit your ear comfortably.

5. Is it possible to have a conversation while wearing Loop?

Loop is designed to keep both music and speech clear. This way you can finally understand that hot guy or girl's number.

6. Why should I choose Loop?

Loop is the first round shaped earplug with an acoustic channel and build-in music filter, for a clear and natural sound experience. Loop reduces damaging sound levels, without sacrificing your music experience. It’s the first earplug with a unique look that’s both useful and stylish.
